Second annual event on August 19 benefits Cancer Support Community

–Fine dining, fundraising, and a majestic evening on the grounds of the beautiful Rava Winery are in store for those attending the Second Annual Harvest, Hope, and Healing Gala on Saturday, Aug. 19. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Cancer Support Community-California Central Coast.

“We encourage community members to reserve their place at a table now and join us for our biggest event of the year,” said CSC Executive Director Shannon D’Acquisto. “This year, Harvest, Hope, and Healing at Rava Winery is gearing up to be even more spectacular than our first annual event held in 2016.”

Nearly $150,000 was raised last year, according to D’Acquisto, and the goal is to increase the funds being raised in 2017 to support local cancer patients and their families being served by CSC. Fundraising events such as Harvest, Hope, and Healing help CSC staff and volunteers to continue their programming throughout the year and provide all of the services offered free of charge.

The 2017 Harvest, Hope, and Healing Gala includes a silent and live auction, a delicious French-inspired dinner catered by renowned Chef Charlie, local wine, spirits, and more. In addition to fabulous offerings from Rava Winery, wines and spirits have been donated for the event by Re:find Distillery, Clavo Cellars Winery, and many more. Main sponsors include: Circle 6 Ranch, Twin Cities Community Hospital, Thom Schulz, Peachy Canyon Winery, Paso Robles Ford, Radiology Associates, EmCare, and Coastal Radiation Oncology.

“This event sold out last year, so don’t delay; be sure to get tickets early,” said D’Acquisto.

The event at Rava Winery, located at 6785 Creston Road in Paso Robles, will take place from 5 to 10 p.m. Cocktails and wine will be served and silent auction held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. with dinner served from 6:30-7:30. The live auction will take place from 7:30-8:30 p.m. as dessert is being served. Music and dancing will cap off the evening. Cocktail attire is recommended.

Individual tickets for the event are $200. Table sponsorships are available for $2,500 and include 10 tickets and sponsorship recognition. Purchase tickets for Harvest, Hope, and Healing at www.cscslo.org or call the Cancer Support Community directly at (805) 238-4411.
