See’s Candies opening in Paso Robles

–This year, See’s Candies will open nearly a dozen new or relocated shops, including one in Paso Robles.

“Since our founding in 1921, See’s has been delivering the highest-quality and delicious American-made chocolates and candies to our customers and we’re pleased to continue this journey almost 100 years later with new retail locations throughout California, as well as our first location in New York City,” said See’s Candies CEO and President Brad Kinstler. “In order to meet the retail needs of our loyal following, we listened to our customers who were not only looking for new locations to buy our 100-plus varieties of chocolates and candies, but to experience the welcoming service and of course complimentary samples we’re known and loved for.”

The new and relocated California shops on the horizon in 2017 include locations in San Jose (Westfield Oakridge), Castro Valley (Castro Village), Manhattan Beach (Manhattan Village), Paso Robles (The Crossings), Laguna Hills (TBA), Glendale (Americana at Brand) and Calabasas (The Commons at Calabasas). These are in addition to the first ever New York City shop that opened earlier this year in Greenwich Village, as well as new California shops that have previously opened or moved this year into new, larger and more inviting locations in Escondido, Windsor and Pleasant Hill.

“When deciding where to focus our new retail shop locations, it was important for us to see where customer demand was and you’ll see many of our new and relocated stores are in convenient locations in outdoor malls and strip centers where our consumers are shopping these days,” said Ann Ostrander, SVP of Sales at See’s Candies. “In this time of uncertainty for many brick and mortar retailers, we’re very excited to be growing and expanding our retail presence throughout California, as we also look to add retail locations in the other states.”
