–Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center in San Luis Obispo and Twin Cities Community Hospital in Templeton have announced several changes to their executive leadership teams.

Sierra Vista has appointed Eleze Armstrong as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Effective Sept. 10, 2018, Armstrong will be responsible for continuing the building modernization and improvement efforts started this past year, as well as ensuring the hospital’s service lines and existing programs are shepherded to growth and success.

Armstrong had previously been serving as the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at Twin Cities. She started at Twin Cities in 2010 as Director of Imaging and Cardiovascular Services, then moved into the role of Market Director of Neuroscience Services before becoming CSO.

Armstrong – a graduate of the Tenet Leadership Academy – earned her Bachelor of Arts in Healthcare Administration from the University of Ottawa in Kansas and a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Grand Canyon University in Arizona. She is also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Michael Keleman has been appointed the new Market Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), over both Sierra Vista and Twin Cities, effective Sept. 10, 2018. Keleman was previously the CSO for Sierra Vista only, and will now oversee strategy for both hospitals. In this role, he will focus on continuing to develop an integrated network of services focused on providing convenient access to high-quality care – close to home – for the residents of San Luis Obispo County.

Keleman joined the Central Coast Market team in February from San Ramon where he was the Director of Network Development for Tenet Healthcare’s joint venture with John Muir Health. Prior to his role in San Ramon, Keleman worked for John Muir in Walnut Creek as Manager of Systems Strategy and Business Development.

Keleman earned his Bachelor of Science from UC Davis in Kinesiology and a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from the University of Southern California. He is a member of the American College of Health Executives.

Twin Cities has appointed Lois Johnson as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective Sept. 10, 2018. Johnson will provide full-time strategic and operational financial leadership to Twin Cities.

Prior to joining the Twin Cities team, Johnson served as the Facilities Financial Officer at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo and previously held financial leadership positions – including CFO – at Ridgecrest Regional Hospital in Ridgecrest, California.

Johnson earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from California State University, Bakersfield and Master of Business Administration from Cal Poly Pomona.
