Farm Supply Company – 64 Years on the Central Coast

Paso Robles Farm Supply

Friendly faces at the Paso Robles Farm Supply store: left, Noel Ryan, Store Manager with 37 years of service and right, Dana Clark, Irrigation Specialist with 33 years of service.

Farm Supply Company has been serving the Central Coast since 1950. Locally, a store was opened on Paso Robles Street in 1977; it was moved to Ramada Drive in 2011.

At any of the five Farm Supply locations, find a variety of pet food and supplies, livestock feed and supplies, gardening goods and much more. A variety of pet food from locally owned Canidae, and other quality foods such as Blue Buffalo and Taste of the Wild fill the shelves. Store staff can point customers in the right direction whether looking for grain-free or a high protein diet for pets. The shelves are stocked with toys and treats to keep dogs and cats entertained and they also carry supplies for birds and other small animals.

Farm Supply features a variety of livestock feed by Nutrena and Purina and livestock supplies to keep horses, goats, cows and other critters happy and healthy – they even have feed for emus, alpacas and llamas. Have a show animal? Ask about their Nutrena show feed lines, Showmaster, S-Series and Sunglo to help make your fair animal number one in its class.

You’ll find clothing, home décor and tack departments at all locations. Whether you need work boots for chores around the house or an outfit for a night on the town, Farm Supply has something for you. Let them help you dress up your home with a unique selection of home décor items. The tack department is stocked with halters, leads, headstalls, bits and grooming supplies for your horse.

What else do they offer? They have vineyard and winery supplies for our ever-growing wine country. There is an Archery Department at the Arroyo Grande location. They offer services in irrigation design and have pest control advisors to provide recommendations if you are planting 10 acres or a few trees in your backyard. During the Spring, they offer free education on topics like raising backyard chickens, gardening and rodent control, to name a few – Farm Supply is truly a one-stop shop!

Farm Supply CEO Jim Braback had been a part of Farm Supply team since 1965! His mission is to ensure that “every customer that walks through our doors leaves our store feeling better than when they came in.” Thanks to his leadership, and the culture at Farm Supply, the team is energized and inspired to live out that mission everyday.

The agricultural cooperative is still the heart of Farm Supply; there are 2,500 members strong and growing. Anyone that is an agricultural producer can join for just one dollar and share in the profits. However, one does not have to be a member to shop with Farm Supply.
