Templeton creek clean-up day is Sept. 26
– The public is invited to participate in the fifteenth annual Templeton Community Creek/Clean-up Day, scheduled on Saturday, Sept. 26 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. This annual project not only helps to improve the appearance of the community, but it also assures that trash will not end up in local waterways during winter rains, where it can harm important ecosystems.
One hundred “Keep Templeton Clean” t-shirts will be given to the first 100 volunteers.
Volunteers should meet at the Templeton Community Services District Boardroom at 5th and Crocker Streets, and should remember to wear sturdy shoes and bring work gloves. Pre-register by filling out the volunteer form available at the Templeton CSD Office at 420 Crocker Street and return it to the TCSD Office, or e-mail Kathleen Hix at [email protected].
A free barbecue and prize drawing will be held for participants following the event.
For more information call Kathleen Hix at (805) 434-4914.
