Templeton Schools and Chamber form Alliance for Performing Arts Center 

A ‘Tribute to Sinatra’ set for Mar. 30 in Templeton

The Templeton Unified School District (TUSD) and the Templeton Chamber of Commerce (TCOC) will be working together to bring live entertainment to the Templeton Performing Arts Center.  The 325 seat state-of-the-art theater is on the grounds of the Templeton High School campus and was opened in 2003.  The theater has been used for high school performances the past 10 years, as well as for various dance recitals and other local events.

Berdette Robison, the new Executive Director at TCOC, will be the liaison between TUSD and TCOC.  She will work closely with TUSD to bring outstanding entertainment to the PAC.  According to Robison, “This is an incredible opportunity to showcase this spectacular venue to our community.  The Templeton Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to have formed this relationship with the Templeton Unified School District.

The first event, A Tribute to Sinatra, celebrating this exciting association,. is scheduled for Saturday, March 30 and will star local favorites, Chad Stevens, Steve Mcandrew, Brett Mitchell, Bobby Horn, Pat Cormick & The Quiet Knights and Steve McCann.  “My goal is to offer five performances in 2013 and know the community will support this endeavor,” says Robison.  Tickets will be $15 per person and will be on sale January 10 at the Templeton Chamber of Commerce office at 524 S.
