Templeton High School to present, ‘1984’

Untitled–Templeton High School Drama is performing George Orwell’s “1984” on Nov. 12-14 and 19-21 at 7 p.m. There will be matinee performances Nov. 14 and 21 at 2 p.m.

The performance will be held at Templeton Performing Arts Center, located at 1200 S. Main Street. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and seniors. Purchase tickets here.

Tickets will also be available at the door.

The synopsis reads: Orwell’s “1984” powerfully depicts the horrors of man’s fate in a near future society where Big Brother is always watching— where everything that is not prohibited is compulsory. Contemporary issues of constant surveillance, censorship, nationalism and war are chilling and thought-provoking.
