–The Templeton Eagles girls volleyball team beat Whittier 3-0 in the first round of the CIF-Southern Section Play-offs Tuesday night. The Eagles improve to 23-4 for the season.

They completed league play with a perfect 14-0 record. The Eagles travel to Montebello to take on the Schurr High School (23-5) Thursday in the second round of the CIF Play-offs.
