Lil’ Dragons
The Lil’ Dragons (ages 3-6) is an ongoing pre-karate program which emphasizes exercise, coordination, biomechanics, bully prevention, stranger awareness and life skills. Much of the training is directed toward the mental and physical discipline along with self-reliance, personal responsibility, self-defense and self-esteem. In addition, students are introduced to karate skills and katas for their advancement to the regal or karate program. This is a belt promotion program.Instructor: Sensei Emelie Jones, (Internationally ranked 1st Degree Black Belt in Okinawan (Kobayashi-Ryu) Shorin-Rya ShorinKan Karate.

Little Bird Music Together
will be offering music classes for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and their parents and/or caregivers at the Templeton Community Center on Saturday mornings beginning Saturday, Oct. 4. Bring your child to music class before heading to Farmer’s Market! Music Together® is an internationally-renowned music program for young children and their families in which children develop tonal and rhythm competence through the experience of making music with the grown-ups who love them. Each semester provides 10 weekly 45-minute classes full of singing, movement, the use of rhythm instruments, and FUN! Activities are research-based and developmentally appropriate. Retirement Planning Class
Retirement Planning Today classes will be held at Templeton High School on two Thursdays, Oct 23 and 30 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. and on Saturdays, Oct. 18 and 25 from 9 a.m. to Noon. Instructor Shawn Alan Murphy, CFP® will lead the classes. Students will learn how to integrate finances with goals and values, use tax law changes to their advantage and how to properly allocate assets within an IRA or employer retirement plan – 401k, 403b, etc. Cost is $59 per person.
