Templeton Active Seniors Club
This Active Seniors Club meets on the first Friday of each month from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the Templeton Community Center, located at 601 S. Main St. in Templeton.
Meetings typically include a presentation on topics pertinent to the Senior Community and last for about an hour, with plenty of time allowed for a question and answer period following the presentation.
Past meetings have included discussion topics and presentations such as Hearing Loss and Prevention, Eating Well, Brain Aerobics, Dealing with Depression on Aging, Pedestrian Safety, and Strategies for Taking Withdrawals from Retirement Accounts (including ideally positioning an account to be inherited by a loved one). Future meetings will include local road trips for behind the scenes tours of local wineries, an Antiques Road Show simulation, Brain Aerobics (back by popular demand), and much, much more!
The club welcomes visitors and new members – come learn, socialize and stay informed. Membership is $5 per year. Don’t miss our next meeting!
