Power outage reported in Templeton

Power outage left close to 3,000 without power for over two hours on over 100-degree day
–A power outage Tuesday afternoon in Templeton left close to 3,000 customers without power for over two hours. The outage occurred at 4.30 p.m. mostly on the westside of town, with Twin Cities Community Hospital switching to backup generators for the duration, reports say. Temperatures reached over 100-degrees on Tuesday.
PG&E said about 2,900 customers lost power, by 6.45 p.m., all but 832 customers power was restored. The remaining power was restored shortly before 9 p.m. that evening, reports say.
The outage is still being investigated by PG&E.
