Planting at the Templeton Community Garden

Bountiful-Harvest_sm

Templeton opened the gate to the Community Garden on March 1 and, since its opening, the garden has been cultivated into a bounty of vegetables this year. The garden is located behind the Templeton Community Center at 601 South Main St. and those who wanted a garden paid $20 for an 8’ x 20’ plot.

Gardeners will need to vacate their plots by Jan. 1 to allow time for the garden to be plowed and ready for the next year’s gardeners. If you are interested in a plot for the 2015 planting season, be sure to call Templeton Recreation at (805) 434-4909 or stop on by the office at 599 S. Main St.
