Lake Nacimiento raises over 20 feet in less than a week’s time

– Lake Nacimiento rose over 20 vertical feet in elevation with the last week’s rains, according to records kept by the Monterey County Water Resources Agency.

Last Saturday, the lake was at 33-percent capacity with an elevation of 741.8 feet. As of Thursday, the lake was at 54-percent capacity with an elevation of 764.6 feet.

Lake San Antonio rose from 8-percent capacity to 13-percent.
