Humane society offering $1 microchipping 

Service is available for all cats and dogsone dollar microchipping atascadero north county humane

–Starting Jan. 1, North County Humane Society will be offering a $1 microchip service for all dogs and cats in the community. Dogs should be brought in on a leash and cats in secure carriers for this service without an appointment during normal business hours.

The microchipping is made possible be a grant from the Harold J. Miossi Charitable Trust.

The North County Humane Society Cat Adoption Center is located in Atascadero just off of Highway 101 and Del Rio Road at 2300 Ramona Road. Operating hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. They are closed Sunday and Monday. The phone is (805) 466-5403, and the website, which contains information on adoptable cats, is www.slonchs.org.
