Huge Templeton community yard sale May 17
Templeton Community Services District’s Annual Communitywide Yard Sale will be held on Saturday, May 17, starting at 8 a.m. Residents living within the Templeton CSD’s boundaries may sign-up for the 4th annual yard sale event via a form in their April utility bill or at the district office located at 420 Crocker Street, Templeton. There is no charge to register. Sign-ups are not be accepted after May 14.
Residents are encouraged to embrace the three Rs: reduce, reuse, and recycle. One person’s trash can be another person’s treasure. So instead of discarding unwanted appliances, tools, furniture, or clothes, people are encouraged to try selling or donating them. This prevents usable goods from going into the landfill, so not only will you be reducing waste, you’ll be helping others.
Shoppers can find yard sale addresses and brief descriptions of items for sale on printed maps that will be available at the Templeton Donut Shop, Templeton Market and Deli and the TCSD Office on May 16.
