Health reminders for October from Twin Cities Community Hospital
Breast Cancer Awareness, Birth and Baby Center open house are topics of hospital newsletter
The folks at Twin Cities Community Hospital, located at 1100 Las Tablas Road in Templeton, would like to remind community members of importance of taking control of your personal health. The monthly newsletter is filled with various health topics for October, including information on Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the hospital’s Birth and Baby Center for expecting parents.
As the TCCH newsletter points out, “There just aren’t enough hours in the day for busy schedules. But the last thing that should be neglected is your health. One out of every eight women will develop breast cancer in their life, and mammograms are the most effective form of early detection.” Read more here.
Pregnant women and their families are invited to the Twin Cities Birth & Baby Center Open House on Saturday, Oct. 21 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The newsletter states, “If you or someone you know is pregnant, you’re invited to tour our spa-like facility—known for its family-centered, naturalistic philosophy—at our fall open house. During the tour, you’ll meet members of our caring birth center team while receiving information about birth center classes and lactation support.” Read more here.
