Handley and Bordonaro join Peschong for supervisor
–The John Peschong for Supervisor campaign announced this week that Kristen Handley and Dr. Martha Bordonaro will now be a part of its effort to replace retiring Supervisor Frank Mecham.
Currently the board president for the Templeton Chamber of Commerce, Handley will serve as campaign manager. When asked about her role, Handley said, “Being involved in the business community of North County has given me insight to the needs of Small Business owners and the issues that matter most to them. I want to ensure our leaders’ actions encourage small business expansion and help to strengthen our local economy. John has demonstrated leadership on these issues for over a decade and I look forward to being part of the team managing a winning campaign.”
A local chiropractor and wife of San Luis Obispo County Assessor Tom Bordonaro, Martha Bordonaro will use her longstanding relationships in the area and her first-hand experience on campaigns to benefit the team as its finance director. “I have known John for years and look forward to working with a candidate who has dedicated his life and career to helping this region in the areas that matter most,” she said.
“I’m honored to have the support as well as the help of two very well respected members of this community,” stated Peschong about the recent expansion of his campaign team. “The incredible outpouring of support since our announcement has been humbling and now it’s time to get to work. We will be working each day to ensure our campaign and our message reaches every voter. And once elected, we will work each day to make sure every voter has a voice on the county board.”
Other candidates for supervisor include Paso Robles City Councilman John Hamon and Paso Robles Mayor Steve Martin.
