Templeton Beauty Shop keeps tradition alive

Velora Howard originally established the Templeton Beauty Shop over 75 years ago. Luann Arneson will be celebrating 18 years of ownership on July 4th of 2015. “I have had the honor of keeping the tradition alive,” Arneson said.

Luann’s mother Bonita was the person who originally suggested that she enroll in San Luis Beauty College over 25 years ago. “I loved it, and have had a passion for what I do ever since,” she said.

Luann’s daughter Rosemary is currently a senior at Templeton High School, “she has been my angel, by my side the entire time,” Luann said of her daughter. Rosemary works part-time in the salon rolling towels for some spending money. The shop is staffed with a team of seven who have been working together for years.

“I am blessed and grateful to be part of our community, and hope to be a loving service for years to come to all of our friends. Please come in for a visit and we will have a gift for you from all of us here at Templeton Beauty in celebration of a joy-filled 2015,” she said.
