Nightmare on Main Street draws a crowd
–People lined up for hours Tuesday night to visit the Nightmare on Main Street Haunted House. Natalie Clock and several friends operate the haunted house in a 120-year-old house on Main Street in downtown Templeton.
The frightful scenes include a room with old dolls, a vortex and eerie sounds which emanate from dark rooms in the old house. Some rooms include wearing 3-D glasses.
Halloween night is the final night of operation for the haunted house. It will be open tonight from 7 to 11 p.m.
Tickets are $10, but for $17, you get a V.I.P. Ticket which moves you to the front of the line.
The nonprofit Nightmare on Main Street Haunted House raises money for local academic scholarships, the SLO County Sheriff’s Department K-9 unit, Paws for Cause and several other worthwhile endeavors and organizations.
