Highway 101 ramp improvements to begin in Templeton

–Caltrans will begin a project to install Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) ramps at the southbound on-ramp to US Highway 101 at Las Tablas Road in Templeton.

Motorists traveling through this area will encounter traffic control with intermittent ramp and lane closures on Las Tablas Road at US 101 Sunday night through Friday morning during the overnight hours from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m., until approximately May 8. A temporary detour for pedestrians will be available during this project.

The contractor for this project $7 million project is CalPortland Construction of Arroyo Grande. This roadwork is part of a larger project to resurface US 101 from Templeton to Paso Robles scheduled to begin this June. Much of this work will take place during the overnight hours.

Construction on this project is expected to be complete this September.

Caltrans reminds motorists to move over and slow down when driving through highway construction zones.
