Templeton Education Foundation revives beloved event to benefit local schools

The Templeton Education Foundation has revived its beloved fundraising event, Denim & Diamonds, set to take place on Saturday, Sept. 23 at the Hummingbird House in Templeton from 5 to 10 p.m.

Enjoy a delicious barbecue dinner provided by Farmers Guild, silent and live auctions, and dancing to the sounds of the JD Project band. Sunny Daze and IPA beers by Barrelhouse Brewing Co will be available, plus three wine selections: Mountain Zinfandel, Opolo Vineyards; Alexandrine, Dubost Vineyard & Winery, and True Myth Winery’s Cabernet Sauvignon.

Funds raised will help support every school in the Templeton Unified School District with grants for teacher projects. TEF grants benefit students through vital school programs and enrichment activities such as physical education programs, math and language arts, educational assemblies, music programs, classroom materials, technology, and more.
