Crews contain fire at Templeton Feed and Grain
Fire did not spread to building itself
–Firefighters responded to a structure fire in the Templeton Feed and Grain building on Main Street in Templeton Tuesday morning at approximately 6 a.m.
The fire was caused by a piece of equipment that started smoldering, according to reports.
California Highway Patrol responded to the scene assisting with traffic control. At Cal Fire’s request, CHP set up traffic controls at Main Street and 5th Street and Main Street and 3rd Street.
Reports say that the building itself did not catch fire, and the fire was contained within the grain elevator shaft by 7 a.m.
