The 2016 Caledonia Days & Dutch Oven Cook-off happens this weekend
Monte Mills brings his music to Rios-Caledonia Adobe on Sunday, Sept. 25
–The 2016 Caledonia Days and Dutch Oven Cook-off will be happening on Sunday, Sept. 25 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Rios-Caledonia Adobe. Special guests Monte Mills and The Lucky Horseshoe Band will entertain the crowd with their traditional western swing country music starting at 12 p.m.
The annual event, featuring Dutch oven cooking and tastings, will also host skilled artisans and craftsmen, demonstrations, small engines displays, collections from local rock enthusiasts, a silent auction, 50-50 raffle drawing, and more. Barbecued food items, soft drinks, and ice cream will be available for purchase, as well as local beers and wines.
In canopies and tents throughout the manicured grounds of the Adobe, vendors will display goods such as: handcrafted soaps and body care products, olive oil, honey, household products, desserts, antiques, collectibles, glassware, and more. A limited amount of vendor booths are still available for $10 donation.
