Templeton Founders Day returns
Event features cattle drive, chili cookoff, free pie and more
Get ready to celebrate Templeton at the annual street fair honoring the history of the community. Rotary Club of Templeton will be hosting their fabulous Chili Cook-off, with some of the West’s best home & pro chili chefs competing in this event- come taste and judge the winner.
Love live Americana music? Experience live bluegrass music on the main stage. Catch the cattle drive at high noon to kick off the event. Have a craft beer courtesy of Barrelhouse Brewing Company, or enjoy wine by the glass or bottle from Clavo Cellars. There will be food vendors, kids activities, craft vendors, plus all the favorites you have come to enjoy at Founder’s Day: old time tractors and Model-T cars, a working blacksmith shop, Tin Type photography demonstrations, plus a free slice of pie or cake for everyone, courtesy of the Templeton Historical Museum and 4-H.
