Templeton Chamber dinner, award ceremony slated for Aug. 27 

New IMPACT event to honor community’s heroes and leadersplay- impact awards pic

– The Board of Directors of the Templeton Chamber of Commerce invite the public to the annual dinner and awards gala, held this year under the oaks in the Templeton Park on Saturday Aug. 27 starting at 5 p.m.

This year’s Templeton Community IMPACT Awards Dinner will recognize the heroes and leaders in this small town, including the Chamber Board of Directors, Templeton Community Services District and Templeton Area Advisory Group directors, Templeton Unified School District trustees and local elected officials. IMPACT stands for: inspire, manage, protect, advocate, counsel, and teach.

Nominations are still being accepted for several community awards, which will be presented along with Certificates of recognition from local and state government officials for:

  • Citizen of the year
  • Business of the year
  • Public safety person of the year
  • Student citizen of the year
  • Templeton business beautification award

 

The public is welcome to attend this annual community event that celebrates the best of Templeton, and enjoy a wine-country inspired al fresco dinner at a grand banquet table, by Chef Jeff Wiesinger of Jeffry’s Catering.

Tickets are $60 per person and include dinner, a drink ticket, program and live entertainment. Award nomination forms can be downloaded and tickets can be purchased on our website, www.templetonchamber.com, or by calling (805) 434-1789. The Templeton Chamber of Commerce office is located at 321 S. Main Street and is open M-Th 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m.- 1 p.m.
