Eagles fall to Titans

— The Templeton High School varsity football players hosted Nipomo on Friday in a game that proved to be an exciting match-up and a special Homecoming night for the Eagles despite a 29-19 loss to the Titans.
Jordan Bernal led the Eagles in rushing with nine carries and 64 yards rushing. Matteo D’Alfanso had a phenomenal game for Templeton with 11 passes received for a total of 177 yards receiving, while Clint Howland led the Eagles in tackles with a total of 13.
During halftime ceremonies, the Eagles crowned their Homecoming Queen, Lauren Ralston, and King, Louis Lindsey.
The Templeton Eagles (1-2 LPL, 5-4 overall) will host the Santa Maria Saints (1-2 LPL, 2-7 overall) on Friday, Nov. 6 for their final game of the season. JV action starts at 4 p.m.; Varsity at 7 p.m.
