–Templeton Tennis Ranch, or “TTR,” which opened in March 2015, is serving up fun! TTR has six tennis courts, four pickleball courts (all with LED lighting) and a state-of –the-art fitness center featuring over 20 pieces of strength training and cardio equipment. The landscaping of the five-acre property is mostly natural with beautiful madrones, live oaks and pine trees. The 11,000 sq. ft. clubhouse has remarkable character that matches the wooded surroundings and yet delivers the ambiance of an active but relaxing club.

TTR held numerous tennis camps during the summer and is continuing its clinics for juniors (age 5 to 18) during the school year. Additionally TTR has added an after-school-program focused on youth aged 5 to 14. This unique program will teach tennis, pickleball, ping pong, bocce ball and fitness in a safe and fun environment. The after-school-program runs weekly from Monday through Thursday from 3:30 to 5 p.m. and is in addition to the tennis-focused daily clinics for juniors. Both programs are an ideal venue to keep children active, build fitness, have fun, meet new friends and learn life-long skills. TTR has several USPTA professionals and seasoned coaches that love to teach kids.

The club has several adult tennis mixers weekly, numerous clinics and a program for introducing the sport to new adult players or those coming back to the game. Players have the benefit of learning proper fitness training to stay fit and healthy with Victoria Hartt, TTR’s personal fitness trainer. TTR has four women’s league teams competing in the Central Coast Women’s Tennis League so the courts are active in the mornings with practice and matches.

TTR is stepping up its pickleball program significantly. TTR has introduced the first pickleball league play on the Central Coast and has expanded pickleball play opportunities to non-profit organizations. Pickleball continues to gain in popularity in the local communities and folks are realizing the fitness benefits of the sport and are having tremendous fun learning it. TTR has $5 per person pickleball nights on both Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The newest feature to the club is a 2,400 sq. ft. clearspan tent with a beautiful maple wood floor. The tent will host dance classes (ballroom, swing, salsa and line) and other classes such as Yoga and Tai Chi, seminars and events. This beautiful venue is also available to rent by private parties.

Templeton Tennis Ranch exists to provide family fun and fitness in the sports of tennis and pickleball, while delivering a multi-faceted social program, which includes many healthy activities. The club desires to be integral in the local communities as well with its excellent location, beautiful venue and multiple opportunities to assist non-profit organizations.
