Templeton IMPACT Award dinner to hold inaugural event

Screen Shot 2016-04-22 at 10.34.33 AM–In the first event of its kind, the Templeton Chamber of Commerce will hold a community awards dinner, where the leaders of our small town and business community will be recognized and celebrated, at an al fresco gala in the Templeton Park on Saturday, August 27. Unlike any event ever produced by the chamber, guests will enjoy one long communal banquet table extending from the gazebo under the oaks, with a “farm-to-table” community dining experience complete with shared local wines.

In addition to the recognition of the Chamber Board of Directors, Community Services District Directors, School Board Trustees and Templeton Area Advisory Council members, awards will be given out in the following categories: “Business of the Year,” “Citizen of the Year,” “Business Beautification Award”, “Chamber Ambassador of the Year,” and “Student Citizen of the Year.” Guests will enjoy a cocktail social hour with a silent auction, a “farm-to-table” multi-course dinner, post-dinner awards presentation and entertainment. Applications for these awards will be available on the chamber website in the office starting July 1. Tickets for the dinner will go on sale June 1 at www.templetonchamber.com or by calling (805) 434-1789 or stop by the office at 321 S. Main Street.
