Biggest edition ever of SLO County Visitors Guide released for summer

Access Publishing this week released its biggest edition of the summer visitors guide ever. Now in its 11th year of publication, the San Luis Obispo County Visitors Guide is being delivered to over 650 locations throughout the county including hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts, wineries, restaurants, retail shops, spas, galleries, museums, golf courses and other attractions.

Over 35,000 copies are being hand-delivered to distributors for tourists this summer, with an additional 3,000 mailed to tourist-related businesses and upon requests of visitors planning a trip to SLO County. The guide is also available in the official California Welcome Center.

“We are proud to be the first thing SLO County tourists will see when they check into their hotel rooms, as so many local lodging establishments keep the guide stocked in their rooms,” says publisher Scott Brennan. “We are extremely proud to be delivering our biggest edition ever, with 124 pages packed with fun things for travelers to do while they visit the county. Tourism is a billion-dollar industry in our county. We are fortunate to continue to grow with it.”

“It’s more than a visitor’s guide, it’s a lifestyle magazine for everyone who enjoys San Luis Obispo County,” Brennan says. A favorite feature for tourists is the comprehensive Paso Robles wine tasting map.
